Waterfall Country Gorge Sign-Up 2025: Now Available to Paid-Up Full Members

SWOAPG Members may now complete the 2025 Gorges Signup (after first logging-in to our website with your ‘business’ account), after which we’ll issue new gorge ID cards as soon as possible.

NB the former ‘Concordat’ has now been replaced with a revised Memorandum of Understanding; this is largely an administrative exercise by NRW and doesn’t directly affect the access arrangements – a copy of the new MoU is available at SWOAPG MoU signed 2025.01.27.

The sign-up form:

  1. will only be visible to providers who have paid full 2025 membership (see SWOAPG Membership and Reservoir Passport Renewals now available);
  2. asks you to confirm that you have adopted all the measures covered in the ‘template’ risk assessment attached below. This is a requirement imposed by NRW as part of the updated concordat arrangements for this year, so please check that your own risk assessments and/or operating procedures address all these points;
  3. asks you to confirm that all gorge leaders have completed the 2023 Code of Conduct course(s); and that you have kept up-to-date with all recent alerts concerning the gorges (see e.g. Search Results for “sychryd”; and “loonies”; and “mellte”); and
  4. asks you to summarise the number of incidents (if any) with members of the public that you’ve been involved with over the last 12 months – as agreed at our last AGM.

If you have any difficulties with this process, please drop us an e-mail…
