One of the areas SWOAPG has been active in is ensuring access to outdoor activity venues is maintained for the benefit of members across the South Wales region, including:
- Gorge-walking in Waterfall Country;
- Paddlesport on Reservoirs and Rivers;
- the Mines and Tunnels Inspection Scheme;
- access to National Trust land on the Gower;
- Surfing at Caswell Bay; and
- Climbing at Llangattock (until 2015, when an access agreement was in place which is no longer necessary).
