I hope this message finds you all well.   I understand that things are tough for everyone at the moment, but I am contacting you today because the South Wales Outdoor Activity Providers Group needs your support.

Understandably, the current situation has meant that people’s roles and commitments have changed and SWOAPG has unfortunately lost a few of our Steering Group members and Directors.

We are pleased to have appointed this week Roger Lee as a Director and our interim Chair during this period. Many of you will know Roger as the former head of the Hampshire & Cass Foundation Mountain Centre and we are delighted that he has agreed to help steer us in the coming months.

However, there is a lot going on for SWOAPG to be involved with at the moment, so we are actively looking for more Steering Group members (and Directors) who have the time to help SWOAPG support the industry through the Covid recovery phase and beyond.  The minimum commitment is currently 4 meetings / web meetings a year and ongoing email correspondence on key topics / projects being undertaken at any one point of time.  We are currently an active and well-respected representative group, and we would  really like to be able to further this with your enthusiasm and support!
