We have received the following message from Jon Pimm, BBNPA Waterfalls Project Officer:

“Following the recent landslide close to the main cave entrance at Cwm Porth we will have a rope access team investigating and carrying out minor works on Thursday 13th April. In order to allow this work to be done safely access to the main cave entrance with be closed to all.

The cave will remain open to caving groups on other days, although we are restricting public access at this time. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.”

We are assuming that other entrances to the cave (apart perhaps from D1 and D2) will remain open on the 13th…
