We have been informed by BBNPA that the contractor working on the repairs to the steps leading to Sgwd yr Eira on the four falls trail has requested a path closure for public safety reasons.
The closure will only apply on weekdays, the path will be open and usable on weekends and the bank holiday Monday. It is expected that work will be completed within two weeks, but we will update everyone when the path can be reopened.
Please find attached a copy of the closure notice and associated map. BBNPA will be putting copies of the map and closure notice up at key access points in the area on the morning of the 27th April.
BBNPA understands that this may cause some inconvenience to visitors for which they apologise, but these works are required to ensure the routes are kept in a safe condition.
