Regular users of Loonies’ Leap will be aware that the stonework at the top of the main jumping area has been deteriorating for some time. We have now received the following message from BBNPA:

“We have had an engineer look at the weir and rock outcrops around loonies leap and have found that it is in a poor and vulnerable condition. Until a full survey and any stabilisation work is done please could gorge walking groups not use the area.”

We’ll pass on any further information as soon as we receive it…
