We’ve just had confirmation from Dwr Cymru Welsh Water that they will be undertaking major works at the Usk Reservoir ‘slipway’ area (at the northeast corner by the dam), starting in April and lasting several months. The telephone at Cwm Porth is currently (once again) out of action, so for the time being providers do not need to pre-book parking spaces during the week (but please book weekend visits in advance by e-mail to cwmporth@beacons-npa.gov.uk); we’ll send an update once fixed.
