Fallen Beech Tree Cwm Dyar (Clydach)
Thanks To Richard Gledhill for this report: “I was in Cwm Dyar yesterday and there was a fallen beech tree about 40m above the footbridge. Fairly recent as all the leaves are still green! It effectively blocks passage upstream via the stream bed but is easily passed on the true left bank…r/h side facing upstream.”
Blue green algae in Neath canal
Thanks to James Martin of Call of the Wild for passing on this information: “NRW has confirmed to me today that there is blue green algae in the canal at Ynysbwllog Car Park and the land owner has put up signs and red tape” to prevent access.
