We have received confirmation that these works have now been completed and the contractors have moved offsite.
We have received the following notification from Monmouthshire County Council:
“I write to inform you of works which will temporarily restrict the availability of parking commonly used to access Ogof Clogwyn.
“Contractors working on behalf of MCC will shortly be undertaking repair works on a watercourse culvert beneath the coal tips above Gelly Sidings. The contractors will be using the informal layby (circled in cyan on the plan below) on land owned by MCC for their site compound. It is unlikely that there will be space to park in the layby whilst the compound is present.”
