This is a walking and climbing research project designed to provide information to support the development and implementation of evidence-based diversity and inclusion strategies. It is designed to establish the baseline figures for the demographics of those who participate in varied styles and practises of walking and climbing across the UK and Ireland.
“Whether you participate once a year, every day, or don’t know how to get started, your movement matters to us. We want to know more about your experiences and what you do.”
The research project (led by Leeds Beckett University Carnegie) will be completed by the end of June 2021 with results available across the sector. Full details and the link to the survey can be found on this website.
If you have any questions, do get in touch with the lead contact for the project at Mountain Training, Nicola Jasieniecka nicola@mountain-training.org
