Relaxation of Coronavirus restrictions

Just in case you hadn’t already heard (!), here’s the latest from Welsh Government:

  • Up to 6 adults from 6 households will be able to meet outdoors from Saturday 24 April.
  • Organised activity for up to 30 adults will begin, as planned, on Monday 26 April.
  • Indoor Group activity for up to 15 adults can restart from the 3 May, the same day as the reopening of indoor sporting facilities. The restart of group activity had previously been planned for the 17 May and has been pulled forward a fortnight.
  • Indoor group activity for under 18s can restart on the 3 May, and are not limited on numbers but should still respect physical distancing requirements and the wider guidance on gathering indoors.

Should the situation remain positive, Wales could move to Alert Level 2 on 17 May – allowing pubs, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and museums to reopen. This step may also increase the limits on gatherings outdoors to 50 adults, and indoors to 30 adults.
