BBNPA has asked us to remind providers of the need to pre book minibus spaces at Cwm Porth, several buses have arrived recently without booking and due to it getting busier with visitors now, they will turn away any bus that has not booked in. Bookings can be made by phone (01639 722309) up to 10am on the day or email, cwmporth@beacons-npa.gov.uk, up to 24 hours in advance. Thanks!

Hi there, just wondering how long this has been in effect! I’ve been visitinf one day a year for the last 18 years with my students in a minibus, and have just bought a ticket from the machine each year. No one has ever said anything, and there are no notices to this effect anywhere! So imagine my suprise when I was challenged this year!!
I have no problem complying with this at all, I just honestly had no idea!!

Hi Ali, this has been in place for the last year or so, but mostly applies to regular, local users so it’s a little unfair of the car park wardens to expect occasional visitors to know about it – sorry that you had that experience. I’ll pass on this feedback to the BBNPA staff…
