We have been advised by one of our Members that there seem to have been changes to the river bed in the lower of the two waterfall jumping pools in the Sychryd gorge. Our reporter says that the ledge below the jump “appears to be ‘stuck’ out more than normal [as] there appear to be some new large rocks under the water about a metre or so down and about a metre out. I jumped off to demo the jump and clipped one of them with my foot and backside. I swam back to investigate and found that I could stand on them in about waist/chest deep water.” Please take care in this area and advise us of any updates. Thanks!
