We’ve received the following messages from BBNPA and will send further messages when we receive confirmation:
“We may be doing an air lift to Sgwd Yr Pannwr on Friday 2nd October, will confirm this on Wednesday, it’s all still up in the air (pardon the pun) as we are waiting to see if the helicopter is back from scheduled maintenance. Due to these operations, it would be unsafe for anyone to be in the gorge while the work is being done. We will be removing the rubbish from the waterfall and delivering materials for NRW to carry out works over the winter.
“We will be carrying out cliff inspections around Cwm Porth from 23rd -25th November. The main cave entrance and tradesman’s will be closed during this period for both entering and exiting the cave system.”
