Porth yr Ogof Update – ‘resurgence bypass’ passage

Thanks to Andy Lewington of Pendarren House OEC for this update – I believe this refers to the passage from ‘entrance M’ marked on the UBSS & CDG Survey 1977:

“Near the resurgence is a short passage that used to be dry with the occasional puddle becoming a wet crawl leading through debris to the collapsed entrances. The floor of the passage that you previously walked along has been scoured out and is now deep water with a flow visible at the far (north) end. This deep water may be part of the deep pool inside the resurgence with underwater connections. Note the deep water was not fully investigated to see how deep it is and if it does connect under the left wall. Water levels in the cave were low at the time of this observation.”
