Please be aware that there will be water release test from the Ystradfellte Reservoir on Friday January 15th from 2pm.

It is hoped that this is be the final test required before work is started on the reservoir.

The last release raised water levels in the cave by 0.5m, this release will be double that volume. Porth yr Ogof will be closed from this time, and its is highly recommended that you avoid the Mellte Gorge.
