The National Park Authority will be conducting their bi-annual cliff face inspection of the cliff face above the main entrance to Porth Yr Ogof on Monday 12th June 2017.  This will involve the surveyors accessing the cliff face via rope access, inspecting the cliff face and removing small loose fragments of rock.

They request that for this day, providers avoid using the main entrance to Porth yr Ogof. The cave will remain open and other entrances will not be affected.
