A message from BBNPA about some events at the Pontneddfechan Gunpowder Works:
"As you’ve shown interest in the Gunpowder Works project in the past, I wanted to forward you the attached details of three upcoming activities and events at the Gunpowder Works.
"The first is a reminiscence day on Sunday 15th July where we are inviting everyone to join us for a chance to share memories and also an opportunity to ask any questions about the conservation works carried out to date.
"There is also a chance for anyone aged 15-17 to take part in four days of activities at the Gunpowder works from 23rd to 26th July. This is a chance to find out more about the work of the National Park Authority and to learn new skills.
"Finally, for now, we have a week of archaeological excavations taking place from 30th July which is open to all to come along and participate. No previous experience is needed and you can spend as little or as much time with the archaeologists as you wish.
"Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like more information: Ruth.Coulthard@beacons-npa.gov.uk."
