The National Park Authority have recently been contacted by BT regarding the planned closure of a large number of phone boxes in the National Park. Please see the letter attached. BT have placed notices on the affected phone boxes advertising the fact and we are consulting with all Town and Community Councils within the National Park as well as local Councillors within the area.

The National Park Authority has suggested that we as Activity Providers may be aware of which telephone boxes are most needed due to their location and usefulness in an emergency.
