We’ve been advised that the Hafod road (running along the bottom of the escarpment) is closed for several months from the Brynmawr direction. Natural Resources Wales has advised us that they will once again be operating fish traps on the Upper Usk (on the Sennybridge-Aberbran section) during the period March-May 2024 (see attached document). ***The planned airlift has been cancelled due to weather*** We have received the following message from BBNPA: “Airlift of stone hopefully happening this Wednesday and Thursday. Path to Sgwd yr Pannwr closed and no gorge walking on that section of river on those days also.”
