The ERF Restrictions Business Fund/Business Rates Grant opened Mon 4 Jan at 1pm for applications.
This is targeted at businesses in the hospitality and non-essential retail sector who are in receipt of the Small Business rate relief, and who have been impacted by the new restrictions.
Grants of between £3,000 to £5,000 are available to businesses or organisations who have been materially impacted or forced to close as a direct result of the additional restrictions which started on Friday 4th December and/or on 20th December.
To be eligible you must be a hospitality, tourism, leisure, retail businesses or organisation and or a supply chain businesses to hospitality, tourism and leisure and non-essential retail and liable to pay Business Rates up to a rateable value up to £150,000
Businesses who received the Lockdown or Firebreak Grant in October via their Local Authority WILL NOT be required to re-register their details. Business will know that they have been awarded the grant as they will have received an email to say that they are eligible.

Restrictions Business Fund Discretionary Grant
A discretionary grant of £2,000 is available to assist businesses that have been forced to close or impacted as a direct result of the national restrictions put in place for December.
How to apply – online via your Local Authority’s Restrictions Business Fund webpage. Please be aware that applications for the Discretionary Grant are not yet open.
Please note that you are not eligible for this grant if you have received the Business Rates Grant.
