Thanks to those of you who responded to our recent survey; we’ve now arranged the following CPD workshops, open to SWOAPG Members (all-day workshops are £20 each, or £10 for up to 2 additional employees) and non-Members (£35 including Associate Membership to 31 Mar):
- Fri 23 Jan CPD Workshop: Learn about…the Central Beacons: join Alan Bowring (Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority’s Geopark Development Officer) for an exploration of the geology, history and stories of the Pen y Fan range – click on the link to book tickets now!
- Mon 2 Feb CPD Workshop: Learn about…caves of the Western Geopark: join Alan Bowring for an exploration of either Llygad Llwchwr (probably) or Herbert’s Quarry and its caves (depending on reconnaissance outcome and/or level of interest!) – expressions of interest only at this stage by e-mail to coordinator@sowapg.com.
- Tue 10 Feb 2026 Welsh Water Workshop (1-hour, online – !!!FREE!!!) and
- Wed 25 Feb 2026 Welsh Water Workshop (1-hour, online – !!!FREE!!!): two opportunities for watersport users to learn more about how Dwr Cymru Welsh Water wants us to work with them to protect and secure water sources for our future recreational use.
