Volunteering Opportunity – Rope access with BBNPA

SWOAPG and the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority have a long standing relationship, working together on access, conservation and funded projects like our workshops.

SWOAPG have organised many volunteering days over the last few years in partnership with BBNPA to enable providers give something back to land we work on.

More volunteering opportunities are being arranged throughout 2017 with both BBNPA and other partners.

The first opportunity involves a clean up hanging off the bridge at Pont Sarn, this will require roped access for clear any rubbish. We would therefore like 2-3 volunteers who hold suitable qualifications for access and rescue in this environment, ie MIA/C, CIC or IRATA.

If you would like to be involved then please contact the SWOAPG volunteering officer Emyr Rees – emyr.rees@hotmail.co.uk, who can provide more information about what is required.
