SWOAPG Membership, Gorge Sign-Up and Reservoir Passport Renewals due on 1 April

Many thanks to those of you who’ve already renewed your SWOAPG membership; your early renewals have really helped us get ahead-of-the game. For those who haven’t yet renewed:

    1. Login to our website (opens in new tab);
    2. check and if necessary update your existing Membership Profile; then
    3. Apply for Membership – select the appropriate membership category, select your ‘payment gateway’ then press ‘submit’ and proceed to payment:
      • the ‘PayPal’ gateway allows payment either via your PayPal account (if you have one) or directly using a credit or debit card (although it doesn’t always seem to accept corporate cards); or
      • if you prefer to pay by BACS or invoice, please select the ‘other’ option – but please also e-mail coordinator@swoapg.com if you select this option, as we don’t get notified automatically!

We’ve been a little tardy in getting this year’s Gorges Sign-Up off the ground, but will endeavour to get this in place by 31 March. There will be some new paperwork for Providers to review; including a possible addition to your risk assessments (relating to bio-security), but there won’t be a new online training package just yet. Watch this space for an update later in the week…

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water has sadly been dragging its heels over the transfer of the Reservoir Passport Scheme from Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority to SWOAPG, so for the time being please apply to BBNPA as usual for your 2026 Passports; the process and prices are the same as last year, see our Paddlesport page for details.
