Brecon Beacons National Park Local Access Forum

The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority is currently advertising for suitable persons to apply for membership of the Brecon Beacons National Park Local Access Forum (LAF), to cover the whole of the National Park area. They will appoint between 12 and 22 members to the LAF. The role of the Local Access Forum is to advise the National Park Authority on the improvement of public access to land in the area for the purpose of open-air recreation and enjoyment of the area. The closing dates for applications is 26th July 2024 and they anticipate that the first meeting of the LAF will be in September 2024.

The National Park Authority is very keen to achieve a balanced membership of individuals who hold a variety of interests and/or expertise in the local area. The application form and further information is available on the National Park Authority website, https://www.beacons-npa.gov.uk/the-authority/local-access-forums/

They are particularly keen to hear from individuals that have experience of disability issues.

Applicants will be appointed on their particular merits as an individual and not as a representative of a particular organisation and this invitation should not be interpreted as an offer of a place on the Forum.
