SWOAPG has received the following advice from Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre:

“Warning for anyone using Edelrid Conecto devices. “We had a near miss this week and immediately took them out of service.

“It was the same point of failure as per this 2018 warning note, except this time with a failure of the new stronger black bolts: https://www.edelrid.de/en/service/recalls/warning-conecto.php

“They were as supplied by Edelrid and had been inspected and maintained in line with Edelrid’s guidance.”
