Please be aware that there will be a water release from the Ystradfellte reservoir on Thursday 25th May. 

Although not a large release, it may have an impact on water levels at both Porth yr Ogof and in the Mellte Gorge. 

The are no plans to close the cave, but users should be aware of this potential hazard.
