We have just been made aware of a consultation by the Environment Agency on future boat registration fees for rivers they manage – which include the Wye from Hay and the Lugg. This consultation closes tomorrow (16 Sep), but SWOAPG members might like to have their say on whether fees should be introduced for these rivers. The consultation can be accessed at Boat registration charges proposals from 1 January 2022.
