Canoe Wales is launching Clear Access Clear Waters Wales as a parallel campaign to the one that British Canoeing is leading in England, setting out a vision to confirm access to rivers and inland waters and to protect the water-based environment of Wales. “We will use this campaign to press the Welsh Government to introduce legislative change – while engaging in constructive dialogue with them and other official bodies around access to inland waters – and to demonstrate to them and the public the positive contribution that paddlesport can make to health, well-being and the environment.
